About the role
The Superintendent will oversee construction projects, managing on-site activities and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards in Chicago's varied business services industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout.
- Lead subcontractors and coordinate daily field operations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Enforce safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate inspections and quality control processes.
- Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, and design teams.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports and progress updates.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience managing projects in one or more of the following sectors: Office, Entertainment, Gaming, Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, Industrial, K-12 Education, Manufacturing, Mission Critical / Data Centers, Renewables, Residential, Retail, Science & Technology, Senior Living.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Pay
- $90,000 - $120,000 annual base salary
