Superintendent

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and manage comprehensive project schedules, including labor, materials, and equipment planning to support efficient field operations.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work quality, adherence to project requirements, and overall performance.
• Cook material deliveries and equipment usage to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Lead project meetings, perform site inspections, and enforce quality control standards.
• Track and report project progress, identifying risks and helping maintain schedule and budget goals using tools such as Procore.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawing reviews to keep projects moving forward.
• Provide leadership across multiple job sites, with travel throughout Central PA and surrounding areas as needed.
• Apply hands-on experience in concrete work, form systems, carpentry, and general construction practices.
• Review project plans and logistics to ensure constructability, efficiency, and safety.
• Direct field teams to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role
• Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $25M or more
• Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and climb out of ditches
• Strong working knowledge of construction processes, including sitework, concrete, formwork systems, cranes, MEP systems, carpentry, codes, inspections, and stormwater requirements
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and standard software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, etc.)
• Current OSHA 30 certification required
