About the role
We are a full-service commercial and industrial construction company servicing the Southeast and Midwest. ENR TOP 100 and Employee-owned! We provide general contracting, construction management, design-build, and specialty contracting services across a wide range of industries including healthcare, education, manufacturing, infrastructure, and government projects.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, including the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope
- Supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures
- Developing comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing all construction processes
- Preparing and managing project budgets, controlling project costs, and ensuring financial accountability
- Implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with local and national safety regulations
- Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration
- Resolving any issues or delays that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality of work
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry
- Proven experience in construction project management, budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve project goals
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they escalate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Pay
$120,000 - $160,000 per year
