Responsibilities
- Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and coordinating all construction activities
- Reading and understanding complex building plans, specifications, and details
- Ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications
- Maintaining a complete set of updated construction drawings as a permanent record
- Managing on-site construction activities to ensure that they are completed on schedule and within budget
- Coordinating and directing the construction team and all subcontractors
- Working closely with the project team to maintain the project schedule and ensure that all project objectives are met
- Implementing and maintaining safety standards and quality control measures
- Conducting regular meetings with the project team and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of directly related experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of directly related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare projects
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad, and project management software
- Solid understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life cycle costing
- Proven ability to manage on-site construction activities effectively
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety and health standards and regulations in the construction industry
Pay
$125,000 - $150,000 per year
