Job Details
This role works closely with the Project Manager to drive project execution, maintain quality standards, enforce safety programs, and ensure schedule adherence from groundbreaking through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on site to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure efficient workflow and trade sequencing.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to align field execution with overall project objectives.
- Maintain and drive the project schedule on a daily basis, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Adhere to and enforce all OSHA regulations and site safety requirements, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
- Support and help maintain the project’s quality control program, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to address any issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring all team members feel supported and heard.
- Continually assess project progress, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track and meeting all objectives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction superintendent role or similar position.
- Proven leadership ability managing subcontractors and field teams.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and site safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and coordinate all field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on site.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members.
