Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day construction activities
• Ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and project documents
• Managing subcontractors and vendors
• Holding trade partners accountable for performance, scheduling, workmanship, and productivity
• Proactively identifying, solving, and preventing project issues
• Maintaining and adjusting project schedules
• Collaborating with project management, architects, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Maintaining job site safety, quality control, and overall project progress
• Conducting inspections throughout all phases of construction
• Managing materials, deliveries, purchase orders, invoices, and job site resources
• Maintaining organized and safe job sites
• Assisting with project closeout
• Communicating with clients
• Reviewing and managing customer changes
• Participating in company meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of construction management or superintendent experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Hands-on team player with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
