Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day field operations of construction and renovation projects for affordable and market-rate housing, mixed-use facilities, commercial facilities, and corporate offices.
• Serve as the on-site representative of Fello Communities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and safety compliance.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, delays, and deficiencies.
• Implement site safety programs.
• Maintain detailed field documentation.
• Support project closeout and turnover.
• Provide support during emergency response situations affecting construction projects, facilities, or communities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction, including at least three years in a supervisory field leadership role.
• Experience serving as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, General Contractor, or in a similar construction management position is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, construction schedules, and field operations.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, building systems, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
• Flexible, calm under pressure, and adaptive to change.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to manage positive communication in difficult situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Procore, and construction management software.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Maryland driver's license with no egregious violations; ability to drive is required.

Schedule

Full-time position based in Linthicum or Easton; typical work schedule Monday through Friday during Fello Communities business hours, with occasional night and weekend hours based on project needs. Requires significant travel throughout the Greater Chesapeake Region; not generally eligible for routine telework due to field responsibilities. Must respond to construction-related emergencies during off hours and is designated essential during weather emergencies.
