Superintendent

As Superintendent, you will execute and supervise the construction process for assigned homes, ensuring all specifications are completed for home buyer closing. Your oversight of the schedule and direction of Trades will ensure quality standards, adherence to building codes, and health & safety requirements are met. This role requires flexibility to work across various sites in the greater Charlotte, NC area.

Requirements

• 3+ years of residential building experience
• Experience using BuildPro is an asset
• Ability to motivate and direct a team, and demonstrate leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction process from start to finish, including budget control, code compliance, and providing technical guidance to Trades and Sub-contractors
• Conduct regular site inspections and reports; resolve code violations, Trade deficiencies, material delays, safety breaches, and other construction challenges
• Ensure full completion of assigned homes prior to closing 100% of the time
• Conduct New Home Orientation walk-throughs with home buyers and address all relevant “blue tape” punch list items
• Handle legitimate/warranted items from warranty requests; oversee warranty work by Trades or Subcontractors and perform minor repairs when justified
