Superintendent

Location: Mukwonago, WI | Travel: Approximately 50% travel, with a strong concentration of projects throughout Wisconsin and the surrounding Midwest region.

A growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects within the restaurant and retail sectors. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys managing fast-paced projects and working directly with field teams, subcontractors, and owners to deliver high-quality projects on schedule. The company specializes in national and regional restaurant brands, fast-casual dining concepts, and retail developments, with projects similar to Culver's, Blaze Pizza, and other well-known franchise and multi-site operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities.
• Maintain project schedules and drive milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Enforce safety standards and site compliance requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
• Manage site logistics, documentation, and project reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar quick-turn projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to travel as required for project assignments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction management technology is a plus.

$100,000 - $140,000 Base Salary + Benefits
