Superintendent

About the role

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent for the Elizabeth Square Apartments in Waverly, NY. The Superintendent will oversee the maintenance team and ensure the property is maintained to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the physical condition of the entire property
• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team
• Foster positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, suppliers, and service professionals
• Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs
• Manage inventory and maintenance supplies
• Implement and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and continue professional development
• Strong communication skills with confidence, positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups

Must be able to pass a 5-year background check. Pre-employment drug testing required.
