Responsibilities

• Lead projects to completion with precision, speed, and the highest standards, ensuring safety and excellence.
• Coordinate daily field operations, leading teams of Benchmark employees and subcontractors.
• Oversee safety checks, quality control, and on-time project delivery.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of construction leaders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain schedules, solve challenges, and adapt to changes.
• Execute project strategies, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, milestones, and inspections.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, exceeding expectations and reflecting Benchmark’s commitment to quality.
• Foster positive, professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Participate in training programs to continuously improve skills and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Strong foundation from a vocational school, technical college, or formal apprenticeship program.
• Ability to read, interpret, and own architectural, structural, and site blueprints, including shop drawings.
• Proficiency in solving mathematical problems with speed and accuracy.
• Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Project Management software (Procore is a plus).
• Reliable transportation and readiness to work on various job sites.
