Superintendent

Arcon Construction is a specialty contractor that's been erecting metal buildings across North Carolina since 1999. We're growing, and we need an experienced Superintendent to lead our field operations and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a great opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys being in the field, coordinating teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary field leader for assigned metal building projects throughout North Carolina
• Daily travel throughout the North Carolina region
• Direct subcontractors, coordinate project schedules, and coordinate multiple trades
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA safety policies
• Inspect work against blueprints and quality standards
• Monitor project costs, implement cost controls, and identify potential change work by reviewing plans and specifications
• Document daily progress and resolve field-level challenges
• Communicate clearly with project stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction field experience, preferably in metal building or commercial construction
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
• Knowledge of metal building construction, blueprint reading, construction software, and digital documentation
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 certification and 5+ years of relevant experience are a plus
