Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and pre-construction activities, including inspections, site visits, and pre-site evaluations to identify and resolve site concerns.
  • Oversee all phases of the installation and construction process, documenting progress with digital photos, ensuring completion of required inspections, and reviewing project status with the Construction Manager.
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflow by communicating with the Scheduling Team and subcontractors, defining construction schedules, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact, responding to project status updates, scheduling inquiries, and resolving customer concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, adhering to the A&S Safety Program and using required safety equipment.
  • Manage project documentation and records, producing and maintaining accurate construction files such as permits, contract addenda, incident reports, and job files.
  • Support project financial and administrative needs, ensuring payment schedules are maintained and collecting customer payments when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Not specified
  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years experience with construction, swimming pool, or residential industry
  • Required Skills & Abilities:
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills with ability to overcome objections
    • Demonstrated time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ iPad
  • Travel Requirements: 75%-90% within territory
  • Other Requirements: Strong work ethic, ability to work long hours in the busy season, and decision-making ability relative to scheduling

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds required; often greater than 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Ability to wear required PPE (e.g., hard hats, safety boots, gloves)
  • Ability to communicate promptly and clearly via phone and computer
  • Ability to drive or travel between job sites as needed
