Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Cookordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to contract documents.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environment.
- Collaborate with project managers to address schedule, budget, and field issues.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and site records.
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
- Strong background in ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects.
- Hotel renovation experience preferred.
- Experience on government, military, municipal, or other public-sector projects is a plus.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to travel and work at project locations as required.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
