About the role
The Superintendent 2 position is integral to the field operations on the projects assigned. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, along with excellent communication and client service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies
- Participates and executes roles to help create an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring of others
- Day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
- Review and approve Trade Contractor Pay Applications and material invoices with Project Manager
- Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager
- Manage quality program
- Coordinate site testing and inspection reports
- Monitor costs, including labor time and material
- Manage self-perform features of work
- Manage the CPM schedule and look ahead schedules
- Create daily reports and report quantities
- Absorb and mobilize the site and set up utilities
- Absure necessary permits are secured and inspections occur
- Review and verify RFIs
- Review and approve submittals for processing
- Conduct themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibit attributes matching the Way We Work
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
- May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis
- 8 years of industry experience
- Been a part of leadership on at least 3-4 projects or run several complex smaller projects to be determined by regional operations
