SUPERBA OPERATOR - C Shift (Rome, Georgia, United States, 30165)

Primary Objective

In broad terms, this position aims to safely operate heatset machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals while functioning as a primary source of finish application in yarn conversion.

Safeguards and Scope

• Operates heatset machinery to ensure quality, production, and efficiency targets are met.
• Maintains efficiency and meets production standards through threads and repairs.
• Identifies yarn quality during production runs proactively.
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation.
• Doffs off finished yarn packages as required.
• Maintains daily production records.
• Runs both creeling and winding sides as needed.
• Uses black light to check for no mixes.
• Attends any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Fulfills all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies.
• Performs general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Performs other tasks assigned by management.

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on-the-job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Previous yarn or manufacturing experience is preferred.
