Sup Facilities Management
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Work Order System and the Work Request Standard Procedure to manage work load, completion and accountability for assigned personnel.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory required maintenance and statutory time tables.
- Maintains quality of workmanship, code compliance, and individual competency.
- Maintains productivity level of each individual meeting departmental expectations and provides data for benchmarking.
- Maintains staff morale and customer satisfaction through departmental and hospital staff observations.
- Ensures safety policies are followed during work inspections.
- Reviews material lists and stock levels, prepares and approves supply and materials requisitions.
- Schedules work in coordination with departments, management, and contractors to meet regulatory requirements.
- Hires, trains, and disciplines employees as needed.
- Maintains staff coverage for all essential functions as applied to all assigned buildings.
- Participates in on-call duties and emergency calls.
- Performs other departmental duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of trade school or two years of college education preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment required.
- NJ Boiler License or NJ HVAC License required, or must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Valid Driver’s License required, subject to driving record review.
- Computer Literate with a basic functional capability in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with BAS (Building Automation System) is a plus.

Compensation
The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.
