Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home sales presentations by building trust and educating customers
- Identify customer needs / wants and utilize Champion’s proven sales presentation
- Negotiate and close the sale
- Opportunities for daily sales / training meetings and coaching sessions
Qualifications
- Proven success in consultative or in-home sales, preferably with high-ticket products or services
- Strong closing and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and overcome objections
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Able to manage a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer availability
- Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and providing customized solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments and follow-up activities
- Proficient with CRM systems, mobile technology, and basic math / computer applications
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Able to accurately measure, assess customer needs, and explain product features, financing options, and installation processes
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or sales certifications are a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Preferred backgrounds: Home improvement, windows, doors, roofing, siding, bath remodeling, or outdoor living sales
- HVAC, flooring, kitchen and bath, furniture, mattress, or other high-value retail sales
- Automotive, real estate, insurance, or other consultative sales environments
- Experience selling products with financing options and one-call close presentations
