Sundry Shop / Café Supervisor Picasso Restaurant Group – Mug Life Café Location: University of Michigan–Dearborn Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10:30 AM–8:30 PM Pay: $19–$21 per hour (based on experience) Picasso Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Sundry Shop / Café Supervisor to join our team at Mug Life Café, located at the University of Michigan–Dearborn! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently oversee daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the sundry shop and café.Supervise and support café team members.Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.Assist with preparing and serving food, coffee, and beverages.Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.Monitor inventory, restock merchandise, and maintain displays.Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.Manage closing procedures and ensure the café is ready for the following day.Maintain a positive, efficient, and welcoming environment. Qualifications Previous café, retail, or food service experience required.Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills.Dependable, organized, and able to multitask.Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems.Ability to work independently and lead by example.
