Schedule
- Sunday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
- Monday 5:00 PM to Tuesday 7:00 AM
- *Guaranteed active time Sunday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Sundays*
- On-call the remaining hours.
Pay
- $7.25/hr when at home- this is paid for every hour of your shift- this is your minimum pay per hour for the hours scheduled below.
- Payscale increases to $18.50/hr when active- from the time you get the call until you return home.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting participant’s program orientation. Effectively communicating the program's rules, regulations, and contract requirements for their assignment to the electronic monitoring program.
- Install, remove, exchange, and visually inspect electronic monitoring equipment assigned to program participants.
- Clean, maintain, and prepare electronic monitoring equipment for use.
- Enter and modify participant data in monitoring center computer application.
- Maintain inventory records by keeping precise records, completing RMAs, and placing orders consistent with local operating procedures.
- Advise Department personnel of participants that do not maintain equipment properly or not in compliance with their program requirements.
Qualifications
- No minimum education requirements. Some education or background in criminal justice related field preferred.
Skills
- Professional communication skills to communicate with members of the Department, Judges, employees, and program participants.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Office applications and other windows-based programs.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed information. Ability to prepare written reports and maintain accurate records.
- Strong presentation and persuasive skills.
