About the role

The RSU 24 Special Education team is seeking an educational technician to support students with disabilities in a self-contained life skills classroom at Sumner Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in a self-contained life skills classroom
• Collaborate with other team members to provide effective support
• Patiently and creatively assist students with their needs
• Work with a focus on positive attitudes and collaboration
• Have a strong understanding of autism characteristics including sensory needs

Requirements

• Ed. Tech. III certification
• Current CHRC
