About the role

The Summer Food Program is seeking a reliable and experienced van driver to assist in transporting meals to local schools and community centers during summer break.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van safely and efficiently to various locations within the service area.
• Ensure all meals are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Communicate with staff at receiving sites to coordinate deliveries.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain vehicle maintenance logs.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of the local area and familiarity with public transportation routes.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
