Summer Technical Hire (Engineering Aide I)
Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a Summer Technical Hire (Engineering Aide I) to support one or more projects in new and innovative technical areas on-site at our Lexington Park, MD location. Those filling these positions will work with practicing engineers to gain valuable experience in various technologies and/or project management skills. These positions run through the Summer 2026 break, with a possibility for continuance during school breaks. This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform various engineering and technical support tasks
- Review, update and maintain electronic documents
- Potential work areas include: procurement department, engineering department, project management department, on-site government support, and reception
- Travel None Required
Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Desired Qualifications: Experience with Java and Python, Familiarity with DoD and/or government contracting
Education
- High School Diploma/GED and currently enrolled in a 4-year college program with at least a 3.0 GPA in a Computer/Cyber/Engineering/IT curriculum
Clearance

Pay
The projected compensation range is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
