Summer Sports Camp Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to work as a Sports Camp Teacher with our NJ based day camps to run sports activities for kids. Summer seasonal position (4-8 weeks). Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun at camp! Paid training!

Responsibilities

• Coach and teach exciting topics with hands-on activities in sports such as: soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, and backyard games
• Manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes
• Lead a group of up to 15 students independently through hands on sports activities

Requirements

• Ability to travel to Burlington and Mercer County, Monday-Friday
• Teaching or student teaching experience in K-12 schools strongly preferred
• Experience with children in a camp or educational setting
• Experience with children ages 7-14
• Comfortable leading a group of up to 15 students independently through hands on sports activities
• Ability to manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of child development and safety practices
