Responsibilities

  • Build expertise in your assigned sector and complete a significant project that will include delivering a presentation to senior management;
  • projects by Summer Senior Research Associates are often published as part of our signature Blackbooks;
  • Perform in-depth analysis of the industry and companies by working with your team through a quarterly earnings cycle;
  • Attend Bernstein Summer School learning and development programs;
  • Interact with your peers in research, sales, and trading through a variety of networking and social activities.

Requirements

We look for evidence of thought leadership, aptitude for the highest level of analytical rigor, and client relationship skills. We look carefully at your academic background as well as prior work experience for evidence of the following:

  • Basic Relentless intellectual curiosity and an aptitude for solving complex problems;
  • Organic leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to work with data sets, including STEM undergraduate degrees;
  • Best-in-class broad-based analytical skills;
  • Willingness to own work and maintain accountability;
  • Collaborative, team-player attitude;
  • Preferred Experience analyzing public companies;
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients in a professional service environment.
