Summer Seasonal Cooks - $20/hr.

The Opportunity

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
• Follows all recipes and production specifications.
• Knows and executes menus.
• Assists in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations.
• Participates as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation.
• Follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino’s policy and procedures.
• Executes and prioritizes multiple orders with efficiency, quality, and adheres to food safety practices.
• Executes in other outlets of Food and Beverage.
• Performs other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience.
