Summer School Session 1 - Algebra I

Yorkville High School has an opening for an Algebra 1 Teacher for summer school – Session 1.

Schedule

• Four days per week, five hours per day (8:00 am – 1:00 pm)
• Session 1 dates: June 8–11, June 15–18, June 22–25

Responsibilities

• Teach Algebra 1 to high-school students during summer session
• Participate in a comprehensive professional and course-development program prior to the summer session

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Math endorsement
• Willingness to complete pre-session professional development

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching Algebra 1 preferred but not required
• Experience teaching in a diverse setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and advocacy skills

Pay

Hourly rate: $32.00
