About the Company
As a member of Munich Re's US operations, we offer the financial strength and stability that comes with being part of the world's preeminent insurance and reinsurance brand. Our risk experts work together to assemble the right mix of products and services to help our clients stay competitive – from traditional reinsurance coverages, to niche and specialty reinsurance and insurance products.
About the Opportunity
Munich Re’s Summer Leadership Development Program (SLDP) is an immersive 12-week internship designed to expose students to our industry-leading practices. Applicants should be rising seniors interested in pursuing full-time careers in the insurance industry. SLDP interns are entrusted to work on real-time business activities and projects and are treated as valued members of the Munich Re team.
The internship provides foundational experiences in key insurance and/or reinsurance units (e.g., underwriting, risk management, claims, data, marketing, etc.) to build technical skills through engaging and meaningful project work. Interns also strengthen their professional and personal skills via meetings with senior leaders, networking with colleagues, involvement in volunteer opportunities, and conversations with their paired mentors.
