Summer Landscaping Internship

About the Program

Our paid summer college student internship Program is 10 weeks long and is designed to challenge active college students to learn and prosper in the horticulture field while being mentored by industry leaders. It’s a structured, rotational experience that provides an inside look at every role within the branch operational team.

We offer a customized program tailored for each intern, allowing your passion to be discovered within the landscape industry. Locations include branches in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia.

• In-depth Orientation: A thorough company orientation to assist in determining your goals with our company positions.
• Cross-training: Job shadowing with a Branch Manager, Account Manager, and Operations Manager to help you discover your perfect niche and learn skills in different positions.
• Mentor Program: Hands-on experience and exposure to the landscape industry with a dedicated manager to guide your learning process.
• Management Training: Gain experience in all aspects of the business, including technical knowledge, leadership training, business development, presentation skills, project management, account management, branch administration, sales, and estimating.
• Career Opportunities: After successful completion of your internship, you could become eligible for full-time employment opportunities after graduation.

Requirements

• Must be a currently active college student attending a university/college in a horticultural field (or an adjacent major).
• Must be available Monday through Friday.
• Must be capable of outdoor work.
• Must be able to commute to office locations.
• Come with ideas that will offer different perspectives to the landscaping industry.

Benefits
