About the role

We're seeking an aspiring communications professional for our paid 12-week summer internship. You're an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with a keen curiosity for the ever-evolving tech landscape, eager to explore both B2B and B2C communications.

Responsibilities

• Amplify Tech Stories: Support our PR teams in executing communication strategies for leading B2B and B2C tech clients.
• Craft compelling content, including press releases, media alerts, blog posts, and website copy, bringing tech narratives to life.
• Navigate The Media Landscape: Research media outlets and identify key journalists for targeted outreach. Draft engaging pitch emails and follow up to secure valuable media coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and analyze insights for client reports.
• Power Strategic Events: Support the planning and execution of PR events, from product launches to industry conferences. Assist with event logistics, coordination with vendors, and on-site media relations.
• Collaborate & Contribute: Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and client calls, bringing your fresh perspective to problem-solving. Maintain essential media lists and editorial calendars, ensuring seamless workflow.

Requirements

You Bring A Communications Spark

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading abilities.

Organizational Agility

Skills

Foundational Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating professional documents, presentations, and reports.
Media intelligence platforms (Brandwatch, Signal AI, Muck Rack)
AI tools (ChatGPT and emerging technologies)
