About the role

We're seeking an aspiring communications professional for our paid 12-week summer internship. You're an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with a keen curiosity for the ever-evolving tech landscape, eager to explore both B2B and B2C communications.

Responsibilities

• Support our PR teams in executing communication strategies for leading B2B and B2C tech clients.
• Craft compelling content, including press releases, media alerts, blog posts, and website copy, bringing tech narratives to life.
• Research media outlets and identify key journalists for targeted outreach.
• Draft engaging pitch emails and follow up to secure valuable media coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and analyze insights for client reports.
• Support the planning and execution of PR events, from product launches to industry conferences.
• Aid in event logistics, coordination with vendors, and on-site media relations.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and client calls, bringing your fresh perspective to problem-solving.
• Maintain essential media lists and editorial calendars, ensuring seamless workflow.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
• Organizational Agility:
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail in all your work, from research to reporting.
• Foundational Tools:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating professional documents, presentations, and reports.
• Media intelligence platforms (Brandwatch, Signal AI, Muck Rack)
• AI tools (ChatGPT and emerging technologies)

Pay

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between: $20 - $20 USD

Schedule

Our U.S. offices are located in Austin, San Francisco, or New York. Teams operate around four days a week.
