Summer Internship - 2026-27

About the role

As an Intern, you will be involved in project work from day one—no photocopying or making tea. You will be supported to deliver meaningful tasks, participate in client meetings, and receive focused training. We believe getting stuck in is the best way to learn. Current work areas include:

• Planning, design, and delivery of three waters infrastructure and water quality improvement schemes
• Asset management and climate resilience
• Land development

Requirements

• You must be undertaking a degree in civil or environmental engineering and completing Year 3 at the end of 2026
• Interest in three waters infrastructure and/or land development

Pay

You will be paid the pro-rata equivalent of a graduate salary for the agreed fixed term.

Schedule

• Full-time fixed-term contract for the summer period (approx. 12-15 weeks or as mutually agreed)
• Potential to convert to a casual contract for ongoing, ad-hoc, term-time work
• 37.5-hour work week with flexible hours and hybrid working practices
