Summer Intern-Marketing

About the role

BrightSpring Health Services’ Summer Internship Program offers college students and emerging professionals the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience while exploring a career in the healthcare services industry. Internship opportunities are available across Finance, Accounting, Marketing, PMO, Legal, Procurement, IT, Business Development, and Compliance, providing students with the opportunity to explore careers aligned with their interests and education.

Responsibilities

• Supporting brand strategy and messaging, website content production and management, location databases, and other marketing duties as assigned.
• Learning about developing campaign concepts, managing, and delivering creative marketing projects for integrated marketing campaigns, website design and management, support sales teams across multiple brands, and other parts of healthcare marketing.
• Working within existing brand strategy and guidelines, supporting creative direction for consumer-facing print, broadcast, outdoor, display and collateral projects.
• Writing copy and establishing specific messaging for field and corporate spot projects, keeping within current brand strategy and guidelines.
• Working closely with Sales and Marketing Managers to assess individual market needs and provide effective consumer-facing solutions.
• Supporting creative projects from concept to fruition.
• Assisting in developing new materials that can be used companywide.
• Assisting with brand marketing content for company website.
• Collaborating with other departments as needed to determine common goals to create work in line with company vision, standards, and brands.
• Assisting the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager(s) with creative projects as needed.
• Supporting messaging and strategy of individual projects, ensuring they are consistent with overall brand message and strategic positioning and that all projects adhere to company rules and standards.
• From day one, engaging in interactive workshops, networking events, and leadership discussions that provide insight into the industry.
• Collaborating with peers, working on real-world projects, and gaining exposure to different departments to broaden your skill set.
• Throughout the program, having opportunities to connect with mentors and showcase your work in a final project.
• By the end of your internship, walking away with valuable experience, a strong professional network, and a deeper understanding of your career path.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Familiarity with WordPress and web site development and management a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate creatively with internal associate.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and initiative.
• Creative and skilled at assessing challenges and offering multiple solutions.

Schedule

Running from June through early August, the program offers 20–30 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate students’ summer commitments.
