Summer Intern - Accounting (Internal Audit) FY27

About the role

Air Products’ Accounting Summer Role Co-op / Internship provides practical experience in roles including:

• Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing – Conduct joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of internal controls, prepare work papers, analyze control performance evidence, make pass/failure determinations, and support follow-up of issues. Tests span Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition-to-Pay. Exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems.
• Operational audits – Execute audit programs, perform testing, and prepare audit work papers to document conclusions.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.3
• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
• Prior experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Inquisitive mindset
• Experience with a data analytics tool (preferred)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
