Summer Experience Program: Accounting

About the Program

Join us in June 2027 for BGM’s Summer Experience Program, a local leadership program designed for students who have not yet been through the internship recruiting process, have approximately two years remaining of their education, and will graduate with CPA eligibility. This one‑day program lets participants explore interests in public accounting—audit, tax, or advisory—while gaining insight into BGM’s culture and career opportunities. Attendees will showcase strengths through networking and team‑building activities, receive exposure to firm clients via job shadowing, interact with firm leadership, access developmental resources, and connect with BGM professionals and other top candidates. The program is informative, fun, and includes an interview for a Tax Season or Summer 2028 internship.

Eligibility

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and working toward 150 credits
• Interested and eligible for a 2028 or 2029 Tax Season internship
• Internally and academically motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exemplary interpersonal skills
• Customer‑service and team‑member oriented

Participants

Approximately 10–15 students from regional colleges and universities will be selected each fall and spring through campus recruitment initiatives. Invitations are extended to individuals who embody BGM’s Core Values.
