Basic Function
Under the direction of the Outdoor Education Director, the Camp Director is responsible for the organization and implementation of supervision of the summer camp program, participants and staff. They assume program administration in the Director's absence.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least three summers of experience working with young people in a summer camp setting with at least two seasons (summer or equivalent) of administrative or supervisory experience in camp activities
- A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered
Required Documents
- Copy of valid CPR and First Aid Certificate(s)
- Copy of unofficial transcripts showing BA Degree or higher level was awarded
License & Other Requirements
- Valid California driver's license
- Must hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
