Summer Camp Counselor - Rochester
About the Role
Steve & Kate's Camp is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Summer Camp Counselors for its camps in Rochester, MN. The camps run from June 8, 2026, to August 25, 2026, with additional weekends for move-in and move-out.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating activities and making connections with campers
- Making sure campers stay safe and healthy
- Creating and overseeing activity spaces for self-selection
- Rotating through support roles throughout camp
- Actively supervising campers
- Maintaining an organized and approachable activity space
- Ensuring compliance with Camp Policies
- Reporting and recording details of notable concerns or incidents
- Keeping track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
- Adding daily updates and photos to campers' profiles
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
- Ability to stand for long periods while supervising children and facilitating activities
- Ability to participate in athletic games
- Knowledge of local regulations regarding sick time eligibility
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should be excited about guiding kids while they make decisions for themselves, calm under pressure, comfortable leading groups of kids, and have the stamina to keep up with energetic campers.

- Rochester – Downtown: July 20, 2026 (Mon) – August 25, 2026 (Tue)
