About the role
The Kids Club Attendant role at Invited involves providing a safe and engaging environment for children at the club. This role supports supervising children, ensuring their safety, and facilitating fun and creative activities that promote learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children at the club.
- Supervise children, ensuring their safety and promoting learning and development through fun and creative activities.
- Connect with members regularly, promoting club/children’s activities and fostering a positive, playful atmosphere.
- Engage with each member’s family in the facility, offering warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells.
- Promote the youth/day care center amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.
- Show professionalism and willingness to coordinate activities and programs with the children appropriately based on age, interests, etc.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the youth/day care center.
- Engage in physical activities with children, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
- Occasionally expose to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases.
- Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety.
- Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Engage in physical activities with children, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving. Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases. Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion. Talking, hearing, and seeing.
- Work Schedule: Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.
