Summer Boost Illuminator
About the role
The Summer Boost program at Capital Preparatory Schools is seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to serve as Illuminators. The program runs for approximately 20 days, with a mandatory pre-program training session starting mid-June and a full stipend compensation for attendance.
Responsibilities
- Support scholars in academic and social-emotional enrichment activities
- Attend and participate in all scheduled program days
- Collaborate with peers and school leaders to improve instructional strategies and school climate
- Participate in professional development trainings to enhance knowledge and educational capabilities
Requirements
- Three years of teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience in analyzing data to drive instruction
- Commitment to student engagement and success

- Bachelor’s degree, Graduate degree preferred; NYS certification preferred, commitment to achieve certification required

Pay

Schedule
Daily schedule (instructional time): Monday - Friday, Anticipated 8:00am - 4:00pm (Final Hours TBD).
