Summer Fun Bag Instructions

Your Summer Fun Bag is an opportunity to bless a homeless single mother and her children with joy, dignity, and practical fun during the summer season.

Here’s How to Participate

1. Call or Message The Bridge to Hope (602-589-5556)
2. We will provide:
• Children’s names and ages
• Clothing and shoe sizes
• Mom’s sizes
• Family details so you can personalize your bag
3. Fill a Summer Fun Bag
• You can use a tote bag, beach bag, backpack, or reusable storage bag.
• Suggested items:
• Swimsuits
• Flip flops or sandals
• Beach towels
• Sunblock
• Summer hats or sunglasses
• Floaties or water toys
• Sidewalk chalk, bubbles, balls, jump ropes, etc.
• Summer crafts or activity books
• Snacks or drink tumblers
• Small encouragement notes or Scripture cards
4. Keep It Family Friendly
• Choose modest swimwear
• Avoid items with inappropriate wording or themes
• Select age-appropriate toys and activities
• Use new items only
5. Pray Over the Family
• Before delivering your bag, take a moment to pray for the mother and children receiving it. Ask God to bring healing, laughter, peace, and hope to their summer.
6. Deliver Your Bag
• Either drop it off at The Bridge to Hope office during business hours or mail it to our office.
• Coordinate delivery with The Bridge to Hope during the summer collection period.

Most Important

This is not just a donation project. It is a chance to remind a family:

• they are seen,
• they are valued,
• and they are deeply loved by Christ.

Sometimes a towel, bubbles, and a popsicle bucket become holy ground. Kids remember joy longer than we think. 🌞
