Responsibilities

• Participate in long-term transmission planning studies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with data analysis, modeling, and evaluating system upgrades in alignment with WETT’s expansion goals.
• Work closely with industry experts and gain valuable insights into our transmission infrastructure's operations, maintenance, and planning.
• Be exposed to various facets of the organization, allowing development of essential skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Preferably a junior or senior.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is a plus.
