Responsibilities
- Participate in long-term transmission planning studies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with data analysis, modeling, and evaluating system upgrades in alignment with WETT’s expansion goals.
- Work closely with industry experts and gain valuable insights into our transmission infrastructure's operations, maintenance, and planning.
- Be exposed to various facets of the organization, allowing development of essential skills and knowledge in the field.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Preferably a junior or senior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is a plus.
