Summer 2027 Technology Internship

As a technology intern, you’ll bring the knowledge, experience and passion needed to deliver our technology strategy and ultimately, the Nationwide strategy.

Responsibilities

• Work within one of Nationwide’s 200+ Agile, team-based Software Development lines in core and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Kubernetes, Java, Angular, Mobile and Informatica.
• Participate in meaningful projects integral to Nationwide’s operations and business objectives.
• Engage in a 12-week program (May – August, 40 hours/week) with opportunities to mentor, job shadow and network with technology professionals and senior-level executives.
• Take part in Nationwide-hosted hackathons, collaborating with business partners to brainstorm ideas, apply hands-on programming, and create new business applications.

Ideal candidate

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technology-related discipline.
• Solid track record of academic excellence (minimum 3.2 GPA preferred).
• Strong commitment to teamwork and learning.
• Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028.

Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program. At its sole discretion, Nationwide determines whether to offer sponsorship for qualifying positions based on business need and budget. However, it is not usually available for entry level roles.

The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is: $23 - $50
