About the role

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Reporting Analyst Intern to work alongside experienced Consumer Finance associates, assisting with professional day-to-day work within the department. This is a paid internship at competitive rates, with Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays as paid days off.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. The company does not intend to sponsor work visas for this position or future full-time employment opportunities.

The 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 06, 2027, and requires availability to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This position may work fully remote from any US-based location, provided the candidate can work Central or Eastern Time hours. All work must be performed within the United States, and occasional travel to corporate offices may be required. Associates living within 60 miles of a corporate office (Carmel, IN or Chicago, IL) have access to work from that location as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements elicitation meetings.
  • Document the requirements using different techniques.
  • Collaborate with business and development teams.
  • Triage testing defects as related to requirements.
  • Participate in and contribute to project status meetings.

Requirements

  • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
  • Status as a rising junior or rising senior, with approximate graduation dates of December 2027–June 2029.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred, or willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
  • Foundational analytical, critical-thinking, and reasoning skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal, consultative, and facilitation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and effective time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience.
  • Experience balancing education and a part-time job during the school year.
  • Participation in university clubs.
