About the role
This is a paid internship where you will work alongside experienced Consumer Finance associates, assisting with professional day-to-day work within the department.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements elicitation meetings.
- Document the requirements using different techniques.
- Collaborate with business and development teams.
- Triage testing defects as related to requirements.
- Participate in and contribute to project status meetings.
Requirements
- Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior, with expected graduation dates between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
- Location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred, or willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
- Foundational analytical, critical-thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, consultative, and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective time management skills.
- Must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (the company does not sponsor work visas for this position).

Schedule
The 2027 internship program runs from May 17 through August 6, 2027. The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.

Pay
This is a paid internship at competitive hourly rates.
CNO supports a flexible work environment. This position may work fully remote from any US-based location, provided they are able to work Central or Eastern Time hours. All work must be performed within the United States, and occasional travel to corporate offices may be required. Associates living within 60 miles of a corporate office (Carmel, IN or Chicago, IL) have access to work from that location as needed.
