Summer 2027 Portfolio Management Intern

Responsibilities

• Overall financial analysis responsibilities for the Portfolio Management group;
• Compile data from internal sources files for further department analysis;
• Monitor Fund level financial performance to identify and communicate opportunities and threats;
• Analyze sector, strategy and partner performance;
• Cook up and assist in the completion of quarterly and annual investor reporting material as well as various internal reporting;
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings including Investment Committee meetings;
• Cook up and respond to investor requests by coordinating with Client Services and Marketing and Accounting groups;
• Utilize third party applications (Yardi, Chatham, Argus, etc.) for data collection and analysis;
• Aid the Portfolio Management team’s efforts in implementing firmwide data platforms by validating historical and new data;
• Other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree – Real Estate and/or Finance concentrations (or strong interest in real assets) preferred;
• Core knowledge of finance and accounting;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed individual eager to learn all facets of transactions and asset management.
