About the role

Corient is seeking a Portfolio Implementation Intern for summer 2027. The position is available in either Chicago or Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Support the broader Portfolio Management Team in driving adoption of the centralized Corient Investment Platform to achieve optimal investment outcomes for clients
  • Gain exposure to all facets of the Traditional and Alternative investments teams and their products/solutions
  • Build investment acumen and knowledge base of Corient’s suite of solutions
  • Auxiliary with running data analytics on various investment strategies
  • Auxiliary with the creation of marketing materials related to client and advisor education of the centralized Corient Investment Platform
  • Auxiliary with analyzing client portfolios and running transition plans

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior by the summer of 2027
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software is a plus
  • Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written, in a variety of settings and with multiple communication styles

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $37.50 per hour. This position is non-exempt.

Schedule

This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
