Summer 2027: MBA Strategy & Operations Intern
About the role
Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer with fixed start and end dates designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars. Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks). Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday, September 3, 2027 (12 weeks). To qualify for US internships, you must be currently enrolled in a degree‑seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship/co‑op ends. Intuit’s Emerging Talent program invests in fresh perspectives, offering a culture of curiosity and collaboration, dedicated managers and mentors, meaningful projects with business impact (many centered on AI and emerging technologies), function‑specific learning, global intern community events, and exposure to senior leadership and cross‑functional work across Intuit's product ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project teams, leaders, and cross‑functional business partners on structured problem solving to address high‑priority strategic questions.
- Conduct rigorous research and analysis — customer and expert interviews, market and competitive assessments, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Build the analytical foundation for your recommendations: financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, market sizing, and pricing or willingness‑to‑pay analysis, depending on team.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans — roadmap trade‑offs, operating plans, and KPIs with clear performance measurement.
- Synthesize complex, ambiguous inputs into a clear point of view — not just a summary of options.
- Create and deliver compelling, executive‑ready narratives and presentations, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders (up to VP level) by the end of the summer.
- Participate in team operating rhythms (staff meetings, business reviews) to see how decisions actually get made and tracked.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an MBA program graduating in May/June 2028 and returning to complete your second year following the internship. (An advanced quantitative or economics master’s may be considered for the Pricing & Monetization team.)
Prior full‑time work experience before business school (2+ years required; 4+ preferred for Corporate Strategy & Development), ideally in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, finance, pricing, or a similar cross‑functional role at a leading company.
Ability to work onsite in Mountain View a minimum of 3 days per week.
