About the role
As a Mars Snacking Manufacturing Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:
- Direct involvement in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment
- Understanding of success factors for Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing setting
- Cross-functional project leadership developing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency in a food processing or packaging area
Responsibilities
- Engage in real business problems and opportunities within a 10–11-week summer internship program
- Participate in professional and social engagement activities to network with peers and senior leaders
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentorship to support success and maximize the internship experience
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Eligible to intern the summer prior to final graduation date
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening
- Responsible for personal transportation to and from the work site during the internship
