About the role
As a Mars Snacking Manufacturing Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:
- Direct involvement in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment
- Understanding of success factors for Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing setting
- Cross-functional project leadership developing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency in a food processing or packaging area
Responsibilities
- Participate in real business projects with measurable impact
- Collaborate across functions to identify and implement efficiency improvements
- Apply engineering principles in a food manufacturing context
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Eligible to intern the summer prior to final graduation date
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship
- Ability to provide personal transportation to and from the work site during the internship
