Summer 2027 Internship Program - Accounting Internship

The Kearney & Company Summer Internship Program is designed for students pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Accounting and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. The program offers a dynamic experience including teamwork on federal client sites, the opportunity to contribute to and learn about the workplace, and the chance to build a larger professional network. Participants also engage in a highly competitive pay structure, with specific audits requiring travel throughout the United States and the DC metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Must currently be in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in an accredited college/university, pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Accounting and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Hybrid Internship Program: Interns local to Alexandria, VA can work from Kearney & Company HQ and their home. Interns living in other areas can work remotely and travel to HQ during in-person weeks.
